The Magician: Trick Your Own Mind

The Fool's Path Tarot: Magician
The Fool’s Path Tarot: Magician

The Magician Tarot Card: Visualize to Materialize

Today is the day to do some serious manifestation. Visualize what it is that you would like to have in your life, I mean, really visualize it. Visualize it to the point that you trick your mind into believing you already have it. Visualize it to the point that you know what it looks like, what it feels like, what it smells like, and how it feels. Visualize it to the point that you know exactly what it feels to you have this in your possession. Imagine the joy, happiness, relief, security, whatever it is that having this will bring you- imagine it to the point where you are convinced it is already there.

Trick yourself into believing you have it. Don’t be ambiguous about about it in any way. Be very concrete. If what you want is green then see it as the exact shade of green you want. In this way, the universe is very clear on what you want, and it can now begin the manifestation process on your behalf. This is what it means to live the Magician archetype today. You can do it, so do it.

Simple Wisdom: Her self worth

Simple Wisdom: Who is She?

Happiness is a birthright.

She judges her own self-worth by how bad she can make other people feel. This, to her, is power. She measures her own self esteem by how low she can make another feel. Her aim is to make this other person cry. If she can get them to cry, then she feels good about herself. If she can get somebody to cry over her, she feels valued, important. She feels as though she is worth something if she can get people to cry for her.

This of course, is an indication of a deep rooted sadness. This of course is an indicator of a long-held sense of low self-esteem and low self-worth. She will attempt to boost her self esteem by being cold to others, people that she has drawn in and made them feel close. By making them feel cold and distant, she will feel better about herself, because now she feels she is worth feeling bad about to this other person.

Is it worthwhile for this other person to be upset over losing her, or for the thought of losing her? People like this, as unfortunate as it is for them to have this sense of low self-esteem, really are not worth the effort to be close to. Who needs this level and this amount of fickleness in their life? Life is meant to be enjoyed. Happiness is a birthright.

These people will not provide you this happiness. People like this will make you feel distant from your center, and drained of energy. There’s really not much you can do for them as they will always be looking for their next energetic/self-esteem boost at your or somebody else’s expense. Did you ask for their energy drain? Did you sign on to be their martyr? Of course not. Let these people get whatever psychological help they need, but don’t take it upon yourself to heal them or to provide them their fix.

Of course, show them compassion, but stay distant. What’s the point of being used this way? Accept these people for who and what they are. Forgive them for any pain you may have felt because of them, then move on with your life. You will notice these people moving from person to person, indiscriminately getting close, soliciting attention, indiscriminately forming bonds with them, and then quickly moving on from them. There is a sense of constant discontentment about them. Until they choose to get the help they need to heal themselves, they will continue to use people up and toss them aside.

This example was written as a female. It was just an example. It is a gender neutral phenomenon. A “He” is just as likely to play this game.

We do what we can do to help people, but if they are simply resistant to what we offer, what are we supposed to do?

What’s Tarot Got To Do With It?

Double Oh Fool Guide to Tarot Mastery

Simple Wisdom: Who or what is God, really?

Simple Wisdom: What is the entity we call “God?”

We need not look any further than within if we are looking for God, for what is that spark of divinity that is within us if it is not a piece of God that we carry with us always?

What exactly is God? God is the all-encompassing fire of the universe. There is a spark of God within each of us. The goal is to ignite that spark and allow it to become a fire. When we do this, we feel a connection to God. God will be experienced differently by all humans, for we all have different ideas about what we want and what we need from God.

God is our ability to feel and experience emotions. The mastery of human emotions is a goal of human form, for when we master the array of human emotions, we become enlightened. To be enlightened means to be one with the Allness that we call God. To be enlightened means see the world and those beings who inhabit it from the same perspective that God would see it.

How does God see the world? What is the purpose of God? What is the purpose of humanity and the world? If the purpose of our lives is to perfect ourselves for God, then what exactly is the purpose of God? Once we are all perfected, then what does God do next? What is the ultimate reason for any of this? God exists as the yin and the yang, the masculine and the feminine, the dark and the light.

Close your eyes and visualize God as the yin yang symbol. This is the most perfect symbol of God, for it encompasses all, perfectly and beautifully without favoring one over the other. Can the true purpose of it all even be conceived? Can a single person alone conjure the meaning and the purpose of God?

It being that our purpose is to perfect ourselves to be with the Allness of God, does point to a highly significant purpose. Why do we have this being we call “God?” Why have we bestowed on him such all mighty and super natural powers? It’s as if one day, a very long time ago, there was a giant energetic entity named “God.” This entity, God, exploded into billions of bits. God wanted to put himself back together, but by now all his bits had become polluted. So, in order to put himself/herself back together, he needed to initiate a cleansing process in order to make perfect each bit and piece of him/herself so no part would pollute the whole. And so the earth was created and humanity was formed, and a system of birth and rebirth was created.

Now, through the process of going through lifetime to lifetime, these sparks of God have the opportunity to incarnate and go through the process to become perfected. It is but a human concept that we call this “Enlightenment.” So, the question becomes, once all these sparks of God are Enlightened and perfected to rejoin the whole, what does this greatness that is the Allness of God do next?

The simple answer can only be that at this time, the Allness that is God will simply be. Once it “is’ then there is more that it can create. God is a creator. What more can he/she create when at full power? What new levels of creation can be attained?

As sparks of this Allness, what new and unexpected joys of this Allness, what new and unexplored joys can we experience? As sparks of God, we each have the power of God. This is a crucial understanding that more and more people are awakening to.

Our human form and human mind and egos limit our abilities. This is to be expected. Remember, Enlightenment happens when we have mastered the wide array of human emotions without backing down, backing away, or suppressing them. Enlightenment occurs when we accept the buried emotions that come to the surface and make us frightened and uncomfortable and experience them fully once and for all. Enlightenment happens when we take an honest look at our shadows and fortify ourselves to step into them and see what is there.

What do we find in our shadows? We find suppressed feelings, forgotten aspects of ourselves, and shame. Accept all these things. Examine the concept of “Shame.” What exactly is this? This is something that we have a hard time accepting about ourselves. This is something that goes beyond the picture we have painted of ourselves that is our belief about ourselves of who we are. This is an ugly smudge on the canvas of who we believe ourselves to be.

So what do we do with this shame? How do we handle it? How do we reconcile ourselves to it and accept it as part of the totality of who we are? There is one way to do this, and that is to forgive ourselves of whatever it is that created this sense of shame to begin with. Forgive and accept. Take a look at how this makes you a better, more enlightened person. If you don’t like what you did or how you acted, now you know how not to act or to be another time. What could you have done differently? Think about this next time.

How can you turn this shame into empathy? Consider this. When seeing others going through this, how can you lighten this for them with gentle understanding? Do you judge them harshly, or do you show loving kindness? Nothing is for nothing, and all contributes to the Allness of it all. Your strength becomes the strength of Allness for all. Our individual personalities contribute. We perceive, receive, and contribute to the wisdom of the All for the Allness of all.

Some of us have a hermit-like personality who thrive in finding and incorporating wisdom by finding it on their own, incorporating it in their own way, and disseminating it however way most resonates with them. Their ways will not be obvious to others, but their ways are none the less powerful. The simple fact that they open as a channel and receive what they open to and receive, benefits all the other sparks of God in human form populating the planet, for once it is received, it is deposited into The Silence, it is accessible to all who are willing and able to hear it.

Those who are not willing or able to hear it will still in their own way benefit from it as others will pick it up and incorporate it into their art, their talents, their star qualities, thus not only perpetrating it, but enhancing it as well. Once perpetrated and enhanced, it spreads even further, reaching more and more sparks of divinity in human form who will benefit, add to, and further perpetrate. This is the beauty of The Silence. This is the greatness that we call oneness.

We may not, and often do not, have an awareness of our connection to others, but at a microcosmic level, we are each the steward of our fellow man’s soul. We may not be thinking or be consciously aware of the fact, but at the root of our being, at the root of all things, we know of our oneness. We appreciate our oneness, even with those our minds tell us we do not “like.” The spirit has no sense of “like’ or “dislike.” It only has a sense of connection and appreciation for the other beings, those carrying a spark of God within them seeking to be cleansed and purified so that it may return home and rejoin the All that is the Allness of All, just like we ourselves are seeking to do. This is to Enlightened. This is to be perfected. This is to go Home.

Contributing to the All that is the Allness of All is to tap into and embrace and appreciate the God quality within us all. We are each a piece of God, and therefore an aspect of God. As such, we each have the powers of God. One such power is the power to create, to manifest. Most are unaware of this power, although they tap into it daily. This is true. It’s a simple and well documented truth- power flows where attention goes.

So many people, and we are each perpetrators of this at one time or another, dwell on something negative. With so much attention and thought from humanity focused on this negativity, how can power not flow there? When power flows, manifestation occurs. So now, we as humanity are creating more and more of what this negativity is. How is this a good thing to do? One aspect of it that is good is that it creates a tipping point. It can be created to a point where the collected humanity will say “Enough! We can’t take it anymore!”

Now humanity knows what it must work to change. Now humanity will work to change. Now humanity will look at the situation it has created, and say “If we don’t want this, then what do we want?” Now they will get their heads out of the darkness and start gazing at the light, at the stars that they can manifest on the planet. Now they say, “We want this…” Pointing towards what is light pure and good, and then manifestation will occur.

At this point certain avatars of this light and goodness will be placed on the planet to show the way to this change. Humanity wanted it, so now they got it. Here are beings to help show the way. Listen to these beings and be led to the manifestation of this change the world so desperately craves. So now that humanity knows what it does want, and now that they have a way- show-er to offer guidance, they can now focus their attention on this. Now they can align their flow of attention towards this intention. Now, positive change has no choice but to occur. This is but one aspect of what it means to have the power of God within us.

The Fool’s Path Tarot Moon Card

The Moon Tarot Card: Things Seem Wrong

How well have you been sleeping? Not good? That’s too bad. It is hard to make good decisions and see the world in a good way when you are not well rested. Have you noticed this? When you are overly tired, so many things have a way of seeming dire. It seems like everything is terrible and our world is coming crashing in around us. But is it though? Is it really?

When we are tired, we don’t feel good. When we don’t feel good, things seems dark and gloomy. It is hard to make sound decisions when everything is dark and gloomy. That is why it is best to put of making important decisions (if time allows) until we feel good. After a truly good rest or a truly good night’s sleep, things are brighter and clearer. This is the foundation of a good decision. This is the message of the Moon tarot card today.

Simple Wisdom: Karmic Ohana

Simple Wisdom: You are not meant to help everybody.

Those who will benefit from your gifts will be drawn to you. Just be there.

Do what you do, be what you are, become a master of your personal power, but be aware that it is not for you to be there for everybody. People who need you and will benefit from you will find you. Just create space and be available to them. Those who will benefit from your gifts will be drawn to you. Just be there. They will come to you. Just be there. They will come to you.

Trying too hard to draw them to you consciously will only lead to frustration. Simply create the space and let them find you. Let them come to you. Let the others find who and what they need.

There are many healers in this world. Those with specific needs will find those sent to fulfill these needs. We are each from different aspects and different spaces from throughout the universe. Some are bountiful, others are few. These are our spirits. Those from like places find each other. This is intrinsic. Just allow it to happen. These are the people we most benefit from being around. These are the most healing to us. These are the ones we can most heal. This is our true cosmic ohana.

2 of Cups Tarot Card: To feel loved is to feel witnessed for who we really are

We tend to believe that love must come from this source or that source, so when we don’t feel it from this source or that source, we feel hurt or disappointed. We must open our awareness to the reality that love is all around us. We need only to tap into it.

What frustrates us is the desire to be witnessed, to be seen for who we truly are. We want our fires to burn bright. We want to know that others are seeing it. We want to know that we are positively affecting others in our life. We perceive this witnessing as love. So let’s see each other’s fires. Let’s do it in a real way. Let’s acknowledge one another for the brightness of our flames.

Find somebody, find the people whose flame is the same color as yours. This is your tribe. Those are your soul companions. Be mindful, not everybody is meant to be your soul companion. This does not mean simply dismiss them, but acknowledge their flame, and move on.

Find those with like colored flames. These are the ones you will get the greatest and happiest benefit from. These are the ones whose flame you will be most warmed by without getting burned. These are the ones you can get close to. These are the ones who will most resonate with you, and who you will resonate the most with.

Simple Wisdom: Putting the Pieces Together

Simple Wisdom: To be truly alive is to complete the puzzle of who we are.

One’s inner landscape is a field of immense wisdom. One becomes a genius simply by exploring the different levels of consciousness that we each are privy to.

Sometimes these levels of consciousness will scream at us. If we are intelligent, we will listen. We will accept what we are hearing as sage advice and heed it. Sometimes though, we do not. When we do not, we miss a chance to grow, to achieve maximum impact of wisdom. This wisdom of who we are within is intrinsic to us. Much of it is hidden, waiting to be found, needing to be triggered.

What triggers this? Life experiences. Travel. The pieces of somebody else’s puzzle that resonate with us. Pain. The desire to transcend the pain we are feeling. Joy. A good feeling that experience that we want to elaborate on. Much is in a lock box . We search for the keys. They can be triggered by lost pieces of our self. When we lose a piece of our self, this piece of the self holds something that is intrinsically important to the wholeness of the being that is you. This is true. This is why we must heal pains and traumas of the past. This is how we retrieve the pieces of our self. We retrieve these wounded pieces of our self.

Once healed, once invited back into the fold of the totality of ourselves, we reabsorb the wisdom that was lost. Once healed, we retrieve a key that unlocks a box with jewels of intrinsic knowledge of ourselves. As cosmic divine creatures, these knowings and wisdoms of our self is unveiled to the rest of our cosmic universal society. Therefore, what we learn of ourselves will benefit all. How could it not?

We are each a piece of the other of the other of the other of the other. We are each a complex piece of a much larger puzzle. Therefore, heal past traumas, get past old wounds and make the piece of the puzzle that is you as complete and whole as it can be.

Simple Wisdom: What is Beyond Wisdom?

Simple Wisdom: What is beyond wisdom?

What is beyond wisdom? Pure divinity and grace. Beyond wisdom is what is intrinsic and authentic.

We seek wisdom. But what is this that we call “wisdom” but an interpretation? Do we not take what is genuine and authentic and place upon it and filter through it our own thoughts and projections based on our individual needs and the needs of our society?

Therefore, what is real? What is authentic? Authenticity lies beyond what we try to interpret and what we try to rationalize and understand. True wisdom is but an impulse felt by the heart. It is a sudden knowing that suddenly occurs to us. It is a quiet mind that simply downloads and may or may not seek an awareness of.

Is wisdom found in books? Interpretations are found in books. In the attempts to articulate what we receive in our quiet states, something pure, the pureness of what we know becomes lost. There will be those who read our words and place upon them a different understanding. They will in their attempt to gain “knowledge” find in our words a meaning that suits them, that fits into the paradigm of their previous encultured understandings. This is fine and it is to be expected. It does not mean that one should not try to impart wisdom to others. For it is true that each point you offer gives a starting point for their understandings.

What it means is that for one to receive pure and true intrinsic knowledge, one must seek it for their own self. They must learn (for in your culture today, a quiet mind is no longer intrinsic. It, yes, must be taught and learned) to quiet their mind to receive divine messages that are available to all.

Silence. Silence the mind. Meditate. Seek those of like virtue. A quiet mind in a chaotic sea can do much to calm the waters.

What’s Tarot Got To Do With It?

Double Oh Fool Guide to Tarot Mastery

What’s Tarot Got to do With It?

Every tarot card represents a piece of who you are.

With each Tarot card being a part of the overall picture, blueprint of the human soul, then the card you draw exemplifies how a certain situation or time will affect you. Each archetype is a piece of the puzzle. The picture? What does it show? The human spirit, the human soul.

With each archetype being an aspect of who we are and what we experience, individually and collectively on the planet, then mastering the lesson of each and every individual archetype is to master what it means to be human.

Mastering the archetypes, each and every one of them is to master humanity, because now you have a label and an understanding of each feeling, each aspect of what it means to be human. This is incredibly empowering. This is incredibly healing. This is also an opening to intuition and empathy. Each card has a story to tell us about our self. Pick a card. What is the story this card can tell you?

This is what my book, What’s Tarot Got to do With It? The Fool’s Path to Enlightenment goes into in much, much greater detail. This is The Book that explains it all.

Simple Wisdom: Drop the Façade

Simple Wisdom: Who are you when you are being authentic?

If there is anything that I’ve learned about humanity, it is that people are obsessed with facades. They will project any demeanor they want to be associated with. And most people will believe it. Maybe it is my curse that I see right through it.

So few of these people are living lives of true happiness. Most of these people are in pain. But they are not living this pain. They keep it beneath the surface, covering it with facades and masks until their true self is gone. Where did they go? They are buried beneath all those layers somewhere. Under these layers they are moldering. They are rotting away not allowing for the truth of who they are to be respected or acknowledged. Why would anybody do this?

I want to shake the people! I want to scream, at them to authenticate themselves! Experience the real you! Be true! Once you experience yourself, you will know yourself! Once you know yourself, you are strong! Once you are strong, you grow into your true power and shine! Once you shine, the cinderblocks encasing your heart begin to crumble and you are not imprisoned anymore!

It all starts with the self. It starts with acceptance. Accept yourself as you are, however you are. Do this, and the paradigm of yourself falls into place as it should be.
