You know what you want. You know that you don’t have all the resources immediately in place to get it though. You have faith that if you just get started in achieving this that you want, things will fall into place to support you. So you act impulsively and get the ball rolling on this thing with the blind hope that you are right. This piece of you that pushes you to this is the Knight of Pentacles.  This piece of you understands the importance of taking a chance, taking a risk, gambling. You are not always able to play it safe, especially when you are under a time restraint to get something done. This is the piece of you that calculates the risk, decides if it is worth taking, and then going for it. It doesn’t have time to be told to slow down. It doesn’t have the patience or the inclination to listen to nay-sayers.

If it feels right to your own integrity, you are going to pursue it and hope for the best. This is what it means to be a gambler and a risk taker. Sometimes this is what you have to do to get hat you want sometimes. When it works out, the payoff is great. If it doesn’t, well, maybe you learn a lesson by examining your steps an determining what you could have done differently. It is normal in life to count on luck. But what is luck exactly? Luck is the aligning of hope and circumstances. We can’t always just sit there and wait for luck to show up. Sometimes we need to prompt it.

We need to create the circumstances that foster the possibility of a favorable outcome.  If we never try, we should not expect much. So we need to try and hope for the best. It takes courage to try, sometimes. So find the courage then. It takes faith to try sometimes.

Self-assurance. Confidence. Faith in your own abilities. The ability to transcend limitations and blocks. Keep these things in mind when considering the knight of pentacles. Tap into that power. You have it in you. Remember that. You have the ability to achieve, and you know this. Sometimes though, certain things get in the way and maybe you forget. But when the knight of pentacles shows up in a reading, remember.

When you think of knights, do you imagine somebody who gives up? Somebody who says, “It’s too difficult. I can’t do it?” Unlikely. Knights inspire images of people doing whatever it takes to accomplish their goals. They are the alpha dogs, the go-getters, the doers. Conjure that knight within you. Tap into that determined energy and let nothing stop you. Get it done. Do it.

Be sure of yourself, and nothing can stop you. Things may slow you down, sure. That’s what happens in life. But true power and strength is to get past them, get around, go over them, tunnel under them- whatever it takes to get on the other side of it and leave it behind you. When feeling limited or stuck, ask yourself, “What would somebody who is not concerned with blockages do?” Then imagine the blocks in your path simply evaporating. Poof! Dissipated like steam from a cup of coffee. This is the power of the knight of pentacles, and it is your power too. We are, each of us, limited only to the extent that we create limits for ourselves. So, if you dissolve these blocks, these limits, they cannot hinder you.
