7 of Pentacles: Waiting for Good Things

7 of Pentacles Tarot Card

7 of Pentacles Tarot Card: Waiting for the Good Things

Here is something you may not already know- the quote “Good things come to those who wait” was originally penned by English poet, Lady Mary Montgomerie Currie, using the pseudonym Violet Fane. It was in a poem titled, Tout vient a qui sait attendre. This poem had nothing to do with tarot cards, but it is easy to imagine her writing this about the 7 of Pentacles when she penned that line. Look at the guy in this card. He is the picture of patience. He is waiting, waiting, patiently waiting for his garden to be ready to harvest. Sure, he could pick it all right now, but if it is not fully matured, isn’t he just wasting it? It needs to be ripe before it is any good.

This will take time, just like all things worthwhile do. Gardens and crops take the time they need to grow, just like all things, including the brilliant ideas you may have. Don’t expect things you want to happen to do so overnight, and don’t rush them. Give them the time they need and them happen in their own time. As long as you are mindful of your ideas and provide them what they need to be actualized, you will have nothing to worry about. Just be patient like this guy in the 7 of Pentacles tarot card. –Jim Larsen

7 of Pentacles: The Impatience Trap Is Real

7 of Pentacles Tarot Card: Impatience is a trap. Don’t fall in it.

Progress may be slow, but that does not mean it’s not happening. The 7 of Pentacles tarot card reminds you of that. Don’t let yourself become stuck in the idea that nothing is happening just because you are impatient. Give things the time they need to happen. To expect things to happen faster than they are meant to is to give up on them too soon. If you feel like it isn’t happening because you want it all right now, you are limiting the possibilities of this thing. You are not letting it become what it is able to become because you don’t see the progress. You don’t see what is becoming. You only see what it hasn’t done yet.

Don’t fall into that trap. Give things the time they need to become actualized, and you will enjoy the benefits of it. Give up on it because it is slow, and you will lose out on some great possibilities. This is the message today from the 7 of pentacles tarot card.  Be patient.             — Jim Larsen

7 of Pentacles: Believe in What You Do

7 of Pentacles Tarot Card: Taking success one step at a time

Waiting for success can be boring. Let’s face reality. It can. The 7 of Pentacles tarot card exemplifies that. But if you believe in what you are doing and what you know you will accomplish, you  just have to put up with being bored. It’s a good idea sometimes to pause and reflect on how far you have come on your journey towards success. Remember when you had accomplished nothing at all. Remember when you were just starting out and you dreamed of what success would look like. Now notice how much you have done since then. Notice you actually have come quite far.

So, now don’t let yourself feel down for not being there yet. You’re getting there a step at a time. Is it going slower than you had hoped? Well, what exactly where your hopes? You know things take awhile, and anything worthwhile is worth putting in the time and effort to achieve. So keep putting in the time. Keep putting in the effort. Before you know it, you will have achieved. When you plant a seed, do you expect a full grown plant to pop up overnight? Of course not. You need to water and nurture it and give it what it needs to prosper. Let the 7 of Pentacles remind of that. This is just like anything you set out to accomplish.

7 of Pentacles: Impatience is pointless

seven commerce copy

7 of Pentacles Tarot Card: Seeds don’t grow in a day. Give it time.

The 7 of Pentacles tarot card tell us that impatience will not do us any good. Things are going to happen in the time they are going to happen no matter what, so why rush them? Somethings you can control, sure. But what about those things you cannot? Are you really going to let them drive you crazy? It is all about your thoughts about whatever is going on. You know that, right?

So, if there is something you are waiting for to happen, but you are unable to make this happen any faster than it is going to, what’s the point of getting up or stressing out over it? This is all in your head and your attitude completely. Change your thinking to an attitude of, this will take a while, and that is okay. Give it the time it needs.

Think in terms of a plant growing, let’s say a tomato plant. You plant the seed and look forward to the day you pick the first tomato off it and enjoy it. This won’t happen in a day. Give it time. Give all things the time they need. You can’t change the time it takes, you can only change your attitude about it.
