Daily 8 of Pentacles: Get Serious

8 of Pentacles Tarot Card: Concentrate on the ultimate goal

The 8 of pentacles tarot card reminds us that sometimes we need to get serious and get our work done. That’s just how life is. Sometimes life is about having fun and good times, other times it is about getting down to business and getting done what needs to be gotten done so we can have the time and resources to have those fun and good times later. We also need to get focused and be methodical.

Concentrate on what the ultimate goal is, then gear your actions towards accomplishing that. The best way to do this is to eliminate distractions and get into a routine. Focus. Work hard. Get it done. Sometimes this is just what you have to do.  Sometimes you have to be result oriented. The 8 of pentacles is here to remind us of that- focus on results and get your work done. There is satisfaction in seeing all that you have accomplished.

Simple Wisdom: Moments of Doubt

Simple Wisdom: Finding Clarity through doubt

We all have those moments when we feel doubt, when we question the validity of our life choices and the paths we have chosen. We all have these moments. To not have them would not be human. These are all a part of the human experience we chose when incarnating. The question then becomes what we do when we have such moments of doubt? How do we handle them? Do we maintain faith in ourselves, or do we feel defeated and crushed? It is in these times that we must truly meditate and look within. It is in these times we must truly tap into our inner sparks of divinity and remind ourselves that something brought us to this moment for a reason. Are we meant to stay in this moment? Is this moment but a milestone? A stepping stone to the next?

If there is uncertainty, then ask your guides and your angels for clarity. Ask that they speak to you about your purpose and the road ahead. Ask and then listen for the answer. The answer will present itself. If not whispered in your ear, then shown to you. If not shown to you, then placed in your heart where you will feel it. You must be open to receive the answer without dictating its form. Clear your mind and keep your aura clean. The answer will present itself. This is promised to all.

7 of Cups: New Ideas

7 of Cups Tarot Card: Don’t be boxed in by reality

Reality has a way of boxing us in. Our perception of it does, anyway. Let the 7 of cups tarot card remind you of that. What happens is, we get so used to doing things in set and predictable ways. This is fine as long as we expect and are content with set and predictable outcomes. There will be those times though, when we need something else. Or maybe we just crave something else. Maybe we need innovation and a new way. In these times, we need to get out of our boxes of conventionality and look for new ideas. Where do these new ideas come from?

They come from creative and imaginative thoughts. We need to remove our minds from what is for us, mundane and normal, and step into the realm of the fantastical and unordinary. we need to dream. We need to fantasize. We need to go into a world of make believe where we are not bound by any physical laws or actualities. Now we are examining the world of “could be.” In the world of “could be” we can experiment with new ideas until we find one that works for our situation.

We can get past what we believe is concrete and exact to where there is true innovation. The 7 of cups tarot card represents this innovation. When you are stuck on something, let it guide you to creative solutions.

Simple Wisdom: Compassion for Shadows

Show compassion for what is in your shadows. Allow them to come forth and be healed.

Simple Wisdom: Do not judge your shadows

When exploring your shadows, it is important to be mindful not to pass judgment on yourself. It is easy to encounter aspects of ourselves that displeases us, and judge ourselves accordingly, but judgment will not serve you in your quest for wholeness, which is what shadow exploration is. You must face your shadows with compassion for yourself and remind yourself that that which instigates your judgment is an aspect of yourself that needs to be healed. Judgment does not heal. Judgment causes what is in your shadow to be fearful of the light and therefore remain hidden. Show compassion for what is in your shadows. Allow it to come forth and be healed.

The Moon: Don’t Always Be Distant

Fool’s Path Tarot-Moon

The Moon Tarot Card: Try not to be too aloof

It is true that sometimes you need to keep quiet, keep to yourself, not let too many people know what you are up to, and maintain an attitude of privacy. Sometimes though, you have to be careful not to do this too much. Do you really want people always guessing about what you are up to or what is going on with you? Too much of that and people might get bored with you. They might decide that you are just not worth the effort to be close to. In consideration of the moon tarot card, consider this. Consider how your aloofness affects people’s attitude toward you.

You do need balance, yes. Sometimes you really do need to get away. Sometimes you need to cocoon and not let too many people know your plans. Of course. When you need to, do that. The advice of the moon card is don’t over do it. Try no to make a lifestyle choice of it. Be accessible. Let people in. Don’t always make people guess. Don’t live on the dark side of the moon tarot card.

Daily Ace of Wands: Don’t Let Inspiration Cool

Ace of Wands Tarot Card: Keep inspiration hot

When inspiration hits, jump on it! This is the message of the Ace of Wands tarot card. Inspiration is hot. Don’t let it cool down. Once it cools down, you may or not be able to get it hot again. So once inspiration hits you, do something with it. Inspiration is the sudden urge or idea to act on something. You can’t always predict where inspiration will come from, so you never know if you can make your way back to it if you don’t seize it when it comes to you. Inspiration is a seed that if properly nourished, will grow into something fruitful and abundant, and it is also a gift to you.

When inspired, realize there is something that is ready to be manifest on the earth, and though you, this manifestation will happen. Don’t lose the opportunity to be the manifestation agent because you let it slip away without honoring it. This is what the Ace of Wands tarot card has for you today- don’t let your inspirations cool down! Keep them hot!

4 of Cups: You Are In a Rut

4 of Cups Tarot Card: It is time to change things up

The 4 of cups tarot card reminds you that if you are in a rut, then do something to get out of it! Ruts happen easily. We get into our daily routines so easily and before we know it, they define us. We become complacent in our routines. We don’t even realize how bored with it all we have become until one day it hits us- BAM! Every day is all just the same as every other day.

When this happens, it is seriously time to change things up- however you define that concept. Find something new to do. Do something differently. Create a new routine. If you don’t,  what do you think you will happen? What could happen is, you will get further and further into your rut and you will become even more bored and maybe even depressed. Don’t let this happen! Find ways to make life interesting again. This is what the 4 of cups has to say to you today.

4 of Swords Take a Rest

4 of Swords Tarot Card: Untangle your thoughts

The 4 of cups tarot card is advising you to take a rest. Take a break. Relax your mind. This is important to do. If you don’t every so often, your thoughts will run rampant and get incredibly jumbled to a point where you won’t know what is what in your mind and it will, too much, become a wadded up mess of thoughts that will make you crazy.

So relax. Take a nap. Meditate. Untangle your thoughts. Take hold of a thread of thought and separate it from the others. Don’t let other thoughts  cling to it and influence it. Examine this thought as a distinct entity.  Do the same with all the thoughts that are jumbled up in your head until you can examine them each with undistracted clarity. Now you will have a much clearer perception of what is going on in your mind. Let the 4 of swords tarot card remind you to untangle your thoughts and see them each clearly.

Simple Wisdom: Echoes of the Past

A forgotten memory from a whole other now may be heard in a moment of causeless joy

Simple Wisdom: Echos from the past, energy from another now

Echoes of the past, it is true, often reverberate in this now. We hear them in our worries and our fears, our phobias and our preoccupations. The echoes can also reverberate as bliss and as joy. A forgotten memory from a whole other now may be heard in a moment of causeless joy or of self-sustaining joy, triggered by seemingly nothing at all, but it’s not nothing at all at all. It’s something quite profound, in fact. It is the energy you created in that other now, still in the air, connecting with you in this now, as perhaps your thoughts in this now or your actions or deeds in this now triggered a vibrational equivalent to the vibrational alignment you were in at the now of the original expression of this energy.

That previous now could easily have been in a lifetime previous to the one of this now. Consider this in figuring out your fears and your phobias, and in understanding patterns that repeat in your life, patterns that you feel may be blocking you in some way from achieving your birth vision for this time on earth. The thing is, a life can be cut short for a variety of reasons. It doesn’t even have to be cut short to affect your next lifetime. Trauma from one lifetime will inevitably ripple into your next lifetime, resulting in echoes. Ask yourself, what is echoing from the past? How do you answer these echoes?

Judgment: Assessment

Judgment Tarot Card: Feelings of indecisions and uncertainty

Today, reflect on the Judgment card of tarot and examine the message it has for  you., and understand the concept of judgment in the aspect of tarot has more to do with assessment. The judgment card reminds you to examine, every so often, where you are on your path to personal enlightenment and what brought you there.

You may feel that you are undergoing judgment by feelings of indecision and uncertainty. It may feel as though you are being watched and that those watching you are waiting to see what you are going to do or handle a situation. These decisions and situations will have a big impact on your life and the lives of others. So the question becomes, which direction will you go, and how will going in this direction contribute or detract you from achieving your own highest good? Does going in this direction allow you to face and integrate what it is that you need for your personal enlightenment? Or does it represent a hiding from or running away? It’s not as if there is an absolute right or wrong. It represents an assessment of circumstances.

By assessing circumstances, it is illuminated what more you need to work on to achieve your highest good. It is an opportunity to apply lessons learned or/and discover what more lessons are in the queue. It is important to remember we are on a journey, and a quest to discover and integrate what our highest and best good really is. So take time to assess your goals of the past. Did you reach them? Are they in view? What will their impact be, or what has their impact been? Reflect on the Judgment card of tarot as you do this today.
