Simple Wisdom: Karmic Ohana

Simple Wisdom: You are not meant to help everybody.

Those who will benefit from your gifts will be drawn to you. Just be there.

Do what you do, be what you are, become a master of your personal power, but be aware that it is not for you to be there for everybody. People who need you and will benefit from you will find you. Just create space and be available to them. Those who will benefit from your gifts will be drawn to you. Just be there. They will come to you. Just be there. They will come to you.

Trying too hard to draw them to you consciously will only lead to frustration. Simply create the space and let them find you. Let them come to you. Let the others find who and what they need.

There are many healers in this world. Those with specific needs will find those sent to fulfill these needs. We are each from different aspects and different spaces from throughout the universe. Some are bountiful, others are few. These are our spirits. Those from like places find each other. This is intrinsic. Just allow it to happen. These are the people we most benefit from being around. These are the most healing to us. These are the ones we can most heal. This is our true cosmic ohana.

Simple Wisdom: Putting the Pieces Together

Simple Wisdom: To be truly alive is to complete the puzzle of who we are.

One’s inner landscape is a field of immense wisdom. One becomes a genius simply by exploring the different levels of consciousness that we each are privy to.

Sometimes these levels of consciousness will scream at us. If we are intelligent, we will listen. We will accept what we are hearing as sage advice and heed it. Sometimes though, we do not. When we do not, we miss a chance to grow, to achieve maximum impact of wisdom. This wisdom of who we are within is intrinsic to us. Much of it is hidden, waiting to be found, needing to be triggered.

What triggers this? Life experiences. Travel. The pieces of somebody else’s puzzle that resonate with us. Pain. The desire to transcend the pain we are feeling. Joy. A good feeling that experience that we want to elaborate on. Much is in a lock box . We search for the keys. They can be triggered by lost pieces of our self. When we lose a piece of our self, this piece of the self holds something that is intrinsically important to the wholeness of the being that is you. This is true. This is why we must heal pains and traumas of the past. This is how we retrieve the pieces of our self. We retrieve these wounded pieces of our self.

Once healed, once invited back into the fold of the totality of ourselves, we reabsorb the wisdom that was lost. Once healed, we retrieve a key that unlocks a box with jewels of intrinsic knowledge of ourselves. As cosmic divine creatures, these knowings and wisdoms of our self is unveiled to the rest of our cosmic universal society. Therefore, what we learn of ourselves will benefit all. How could it not?

We are each a piece of the other of the other of the other of the other. We are each a complex piece of a much larger puzzle. Therefore, heal past traumas, get past old wounds and make the piece of the puzzle that is you as complete and whole as it can be.

Simple Wisdom: What is Beyond Wisdom?

Simple Wisdom: What is beyond wisdom?

What is beyond wisdom? Pure divinity and grace. Beyond wisdom is what is intrinsic and authentic.

We seek wisdom. But what is this that we call “wisdom” but an interpretation? Do we not take what is genuine and authentic and place upon it and filter through it our own thoughts and projections based on our individual needs and the needs of our society?

Therefore, what is real? What is authentic? Authenticity lies beyond what we try to interpret and what we try to rationalize and understand. True wisdom is but an impulse felt by the heart. It is a sudden knowing that suddenly occurs to us. It is a quiet mind that simply downloads and may or may not seek an awareness of.

Is wisdom found in books? Interpretations are found in books. In the attempts to articulate what we receive in our quiet states, something pure, the pureness of what we know becomes lost. There will be those who read our words and place upon them a different understanding. They will in their attempt to gain “knowledge” find in our words a meaning that suits them, that fits into the paradigm of their previous encultured understandings. This is fine and it is to be expected. It does not mean that one should not try to impart wisdom to others. For it is true that each point you offer gives a starting point for their understandings.

What it means is that for one to receive pure and true intrinsic knowledge, one must seek it for their own self. They must learn (for in your culture today, a quiet mind is no longer intrinsic. It, yes, must be taught and learned) to quiet their mind to receive divine messages that are available to all.

Silence. Silence the mind. Meditate. Seek those of like virtue. A quiet mind in a chaotic sea can do much to calm the waters.

Simple Wisdom: Drop the Façade

Simple Wisdom: Who are you when you are being authentic?

If there is anything that I’ve learned about humanity, it is that people are obsessed with facades. They will project any demeanor they want to be associated with. And most people will believe it. Maybe it is my curse that I see right through it.

So few of these people are living lives of true happiness. Most of these people are in pain. But they are not living this pain. They keep it beneath the surface, covering it with facades and masks until their true self is gone. Where did they go? They are buried beneath all those layers somewhere. Under these layers they are moldering. They are rotting away not allowing for the truth of who they are to be respected or acknowledged. Why would anybody do this?

I want to shake the people! I want to scream, at them to authenticate themselves! Experience the real you! Be true! Once you experience yourself, you will know yourself! Once you know yourself, you are strong! Once you are strong, you grow into your true power and shine! Once you shine, the cinderblocks encasing your heart begin to crumble and you are not imprisoned anymore!

It all starts with the self. It starts with acceptance. Accept yourself as you are, however you are. Do this, and the paradigm of yourself falls into place as it should be.

Simple Wisdom: Communicating with Spirit

Simple Wisdom: There is no ego involved with your communications with Spirit

True spirituality is one on one communication between spirit and human. It does not need validation.

That it is in your heart is the only thing that matters. When communicating with spirit, when praying, when showing gratitude to be divine, it need not be said out loud.

It certainly need not be said out loud in the presence of others to hear only serves your own ego. If it is in your heart, it is felt. Be leery of those who speak boastfully of their spiritual ideas. True spirituality, true connection to the divine has no attachment to the ego.

True spirituality is one on one communication between spirit and human. It does not need validation. It does not need attention. Spirit cares only with your true intentions, and has no need or interest in your ego.

Simple Wisdom: Get out of your protective shell. Go beyond.

Go beyond your first thoughts on a matter. Go beyond the normal thing you always do in a situation. By doing so, your light shines. Let your light shine.

Simple Wisdom: Allow your true light to shine

We all have our protective outer shells. This is our default setting, what we revert to when we can think of no better words or actions to speak or perform. These are represented by the same patterns we repeat over and over, and often over again. These are represented by the same verbal crutches and the same jokes we always go back to.

This is stagnation and redundancy. We must strive to get past this shell of protectiveness to the truth of our self just beneath it. Our mind will assume that what is real and true about ourselves, our authentic selves, is vulnerable, fragile, and in need of protection. So it sets up these barriers to protect it. The problem becomes that these barriers became way too solid, impenetrable. Now our true self is walled in.

It is a light that needs to shine, not just shine for its own sake, but to shine out to the world and be seen, be felt. We must soften this protective barrier by focusing inward to our truth and authenticity.

Don’t pay heed to the outer shell. Pay heed to the light it encases. Focus on this light. Acknowledge this light. Enhance this light. In doing so, it will grow stronger, shine brighter. By doing so it will cause the outer shell to crack and to crumble.

Go beyond your first thoughts on a matter. Go beyond the normal thing you always do in a situation. By doing so, your light shines. Let your light shine.

Simple Wisdom: Perfection? What’s that, anyway?

Simple Wisdom: “Perfection” is an illusion, so why worry about it?

“Perfection” is impossible to achieve, for it is based solely on an intellectualized idea of what we hope for in a situation. The minute this strays from our projection, we experience disappointment. So what is “perfection?” What is “perfect?”

These words are simply ideas. They have no intrinsic meaning or value. The quest for perfection will always dead end in disappointment. Save yourself this heartache by accepting things as they are. Develop criteria for what is acceptable and unacceptable based on your own value system and view things from within this range.

“Perfection” creates rigidity. Soften. Do not be so rigid. Allow for other ideas to influence your view and your attitude. “Perfection” dilutes. “Perfection” deteriorates. It is the erosion of the soul. Don’t seek it. Don’t thrive for it. Just be.

Be flexible in your idea of what “Perfect” is. Let it be a fluid concept. Don’t get too locked into one definition. Allow it to be a concept that gives you something to strive for to the extent that yo do try, but not so exact that it can never be change.

Remember, Not everybody is bound for glory or high accolades but this should in no way preclude them from striving to be the best that they can be. Some of us make tremendous differences in the lives of others without book deals or television appearances or calls from the president. The difference we make to others ripples outward and touches many- many untold and uncountable people.

We all, each of us, make a difference and we should take a moment here and there, now and then, to pat our own selves on the back and say “Thank you.” Say thank you to yourself to receive the appreciation that fuels our actions, and say thank you to the universe for the opportunity to contribute to the well being and evolution of the species.

Simple Wisdom: Maze Visualization for Enlightenment

Simple Wisdom: Enlightenment is a giant maze

Imagine a great maze, very giant. Maybe a hundred or so square miles total, with very confusing and very intricate paths to walk through to get from the beginning of it to the end.

Now imagine this as your karmic existence. Imagine that you make what progress you can this life time. Imagine that at the start of your next lifetime, you may start where you left off in the maze last time. Or do you need to back track and retrace some steps because you missed an opportunity to learn certain lessons?

How many lifetimes will it take you to get out of this maze?

Simple Wisdom: Your energy drained by people talking

Simple Wisdom: People will drain your energy by talking too much

Sometimes you need to put yourself first and not allow your energy to be drained.

Sometimes people will drain your energy by being behind you, or just in the same room as you and talking. Blah blah blah, on and on about stuff you absolutely do not care about and/or would rather not have to listen to. They just keep talking and talking and talking and you feel drained.

Other people will drain your energy by talking to you, or rather at you. They hold you hostage by expecting you to listen interestedly to everything they are saying, completely unaware that you simply don’t care. Probably, they’ve already said these things to somebody else while you were in earshot, maybe even a few other people, so you’ve already heard it, processed it, and stored it away in your memory bank wherever such useless and mundane information goes, but now it’s your turn to hear it.

This person is unaware of the draining effect they have on you. They only are aware of a distinct need to vocalize. So there you are, a hostage in their verbal cage, enduring this barrage of mundane words being thrown at you. Blah blah blah… on and on it goes. How do you politely bring an end to it without hurting any feelings? You endure despite the significant energy drain associated with it.

And what is the solution? What can you do about this problem? These people are clueless. They will not take a hint. Therefore, the direct approach is all you are left with. You just have to tell them, “Look. I would really like some silence right now.” If that doesn’t work, tell them you need to focus on your work, or whatever it is you are doing. If that doesn’t work, invest in some noise blocker headphones and listen to music. Maybe just the sight of them on your head will deter this person. If you put them on while they are talking to you, they are almost sure to get the hint. It may hurt their feelings, but which is worse? Their hurt feelings or your sanity? Sometimes you need to put yourself first and not allow your energy to be drained.

Simple Wisdom: The ego taking up space

Simple Wisdom: The ego will puff up and occupy as much space as possible

The ego is a demanding master. Once fed, it only grows steadily hungrier.

Observing the egos of others, I watch them try to as they might to occupy as much space as they can. They puff up as they move, as they walk, attempting as they might to be larger, to be felt, to be seen. Their energy center migrates from their heart to their head. They force their thoughts out into the world like flying swords, flying daggers to those around them who are unable to escape them.

They occupy as much space as they can with noise, both little and small, often vocalizing the mundane and the trivial to the interest of no one, not even their selves. They make their noise by slamming desk drawers, slamming doors, singing songs that nobody but their own selves find entertaining. They do these things to excerpt power and control. But what are they in control of? Have they been challenged?

In some ways, yes they have been challenged. They have placed themselves on top of a mound. In their mind, this mound is in reality, a mountain top. From this vantage point, they overlook their kingdom. All those around them are their subjects. They are all at their bidding. All they really require is to be noticed, to be paid attention to, to be validated, to be acknowledged. But what happens when their “subjects” simply don’t notice? Or they do notice, but reject what they see? What happens now?

Now, they are invalid. Now their vantage point on top of this “mountain” is greatly diminished. How to handle this? By puffing up. By becoming big. By filling the room by any means available to them. To steal attention. To steal and rob others of their energy. Puff up. Become big. Disregard others.

If you are more important than others, what need do you have to respect them? Why? They are you minions. They are here to serve you and your ego. You are not here to share their respect. You are here to be served. So you take all you can. You rape, pillage, and plunder the energy and the soul of others until you have all you can carry. But is it ever enough?

The ego is a demanding master. Once fed, it only grows steadily hungrier. What is enough for the ego? When is it satisfied? It continues to feed until it is bloated and gross and hardly recognizable as human.

Often it is not until tragedy that the ego has had its fill. It happens that a Tower experience triggers a realization of the ego’s folly. It must build its falsehood taller and taller until it finally can sustain itself no more and crumbles. Now perhaps the ego will  examine itself and discover the truth of itself, that it was never anything more than a self-sustaining entity.

Maybe now this person will relax. Maybe now they won’t puff up and occupy so much space. Maybe now they will calm their minds and not send so many swords and daggers to those around them. Maybe now they will be calm and bearable. Maybe now they will be exposed to what is true and what matters in life. Maybe now they will realize that everybody they encounter is on their own unique and individual path and that they each are deserving and worthy of respect.
