The 7 of wands tarot card reminds you to stay persistent in pursuit of your goals and not give up just because you hit an obstacle. You have been working hard to achieve something, and have accomplished a lot. You’ve come so close and have done so much, and now if you could just take those last few steps, but there is an obstacle in the way. You can see the realization of your dreams; it is right there. But you just can’t quite reach it. So what do you do? Do you give up? After all you’ve gone through to get to this point, do you say, “oh, I can’t do it?” That is not the best thing to do.
The best thing to do is back up a little bit and see a wider perspective around the obstacle. Obstacles are arbitrary. Accept them or don’t accept them. To accept them is to make them. To be empowered is to not accept them. To accept them is to make excuses. To make excuses is to give up too easily. If you are so willing to make excuses so easily is an indication that maybe you never really wanted this after all. So ask yourself how badly do you want this? If you want it badly enough, you’ll do what it takes and find a way to make it happen. Let the 7 of wands be a reminder to yourself to not not give up.
