The Death Tarot Card: Be Content With Your Own Abilities

Sometimes you just reach that point where you feel dead. You’ve worked so hard and tried so many things for so many people and things, and now you ask yourself, “What did I do all that for?” Maybe you feel like it was for nothing and that nobody cares. In times like this, step back, take some deep breaths, and do something just for you. Recharge. Re-energize. Get a fresh perspective. Take a vacation if you can.

Understand that while people appreciate you for what you do, maybe they just don’t know how to express it. Don’t take it personally. The say “The squeaky wheel gets the grease.” Maybe you just aren’t squeaky enough in terms of seeking appreciation. Maybe you just do what you do because you know this is what needs to be done whether you get any attention for it or not.

That’s a good thing. That means you are content enough with yourself and your abilities that accolades are not so important. Keep that attitude, but if you wish for or want appreciation, be sure to be open to it so others know.
