Page of Swords: Finding All The Connections

Student of Speculation (Page of Swords) Fool’s Path Tarot by Jim Larsen

Page of Swords Tarot Card: Having those “Ah-ha!” moments

The Page of Swords is that piece of you that has those ‘Ah-Ha!’ moments. You know, when you have been struggling to understand a concept and then all of a sudden it hits you? You have that sudden flash of understanding? That is your inner Page of Swords processing stimuli. This is the piece of you that is open to knowledge. It is open to learning. It wants to learn new things. It may not know exactly what questions to ask, or even who to ask if it did, but it keeps awareness open to what is going on around it and is absorbing the wisdom and the knowledge that is in the air and processing it to use for its own purposes. This is the piece of you that is not content to have unanswered questions or to be confused about what is going on.

This piece of you will look for connections between multiple different influences that are afoot and put them all together to create one big understandable picture. Encourage this piece of yourself to find the answers it is looking for by not shutting out different ideas based on not understanding them. Examine them until you do understand them.

When you do understand them, process them. Make them a part of the overall awareness that you have of the world. By doing this, you will create more and more schema to attach even more wisdom and knowledge to. This will make you an unstoppable force. Never lose your sense of curiosity. Keep asking questions, and keep looking for answers. Make the Page of Swords within you as powerful as you can.

Page of Swords: Infinite Curiosity

Page of Swords Tarot Card: Giving in to curiosity

The Page of Swords tells you to give into curiosity. Ask all the questions you have. Explore new things you have had your mind on exploring, but just never did. Today, do it. Indulge the intellectual side of your inner child. Don’t say “no” to your inner child when he/she wants answers. Seek out these answers and enjoy the process of doing so.

When you leave your inhibitions behind you and seek answers, you expand your spirit, because you are not placing conditions on yourself as to how and what you should learn. Get past the idea that you know it all already, because you don’t and you never will. So, today, be like a child with infinite curiosity and see what new things you can learn. Make it fun. — Jim Larsen

Page of Swords: You Never Stop Learning

student speculation copy

Page of Swords Tarot Card: You are an eternal student

The Page of Swords tarot card reminds us that those who think they know everything usually have the most to learn, and often do so through adversity and hardship. Why is this? Because their minds are so fixated on the arrogance of knowing it all, that any new knowledge has to fight its way into their awareness like a weak Mr. Kool-Aid smashing through a brick wall. It takes a lot to get through to these people. The more they resist, the harder it is for new information to make its way into their brain and settle there. Be careful about that.

Be careful not to block out new ideas and new bits of knowledge, because you do not know it all and you never will, so why not embrace that side of yourself- that side that is still hungry to learn new things and to amass new knowledge? Accept that you are an eternal student and indulge your various curiosities. Try to learn something new as a daily habit.
