7 of Wands Tarot Card: Success is beyond the obstacles

The 7 of Wands tarot card urges you to take this attitude: “Block? What block?” Why let things get in your way? Why let blockages hinder your progress towards your goals? Yeah, sure, it may seem like they pop up. But they are only as powerful as you allow them to be. If you see an obstacle and say, “That’s it. I can’t do it anymore. Got this obstacle in my way. Oh well, I tried” then yeah, I guess that really is as far as you can go. Just keep in mind, you imposed this stoppage yourself and it is a product of your own thoughts. There is nothing intrinsic about it. It exists because you believe it should.

But you could just as easily take the other approach to it and say, “Hmm. This is in my way. I need to find a way to get beyond it.” When you say this, then you completely deny the power any blockage can have over you. Now your energy is free to find your way to the other side, whether that means getting through it, going under, flying over it, or finding the edge of it and going around it. The truly successful among us gain success by not being stuck behind obstacles and blocks. Remember that.

4 of Cups Tarot Card: Fix what ever is wrong

Oh come on! Get over it! Quit moping around like the world is out to get you, like  the world owes you for this that or whatever else. You do know, don’t you, that you are responsible for your own happiness and your own contentment. Don’t sit there like everything that is wrong is beyond your scope to fix. Whatever is bothering you is doing so because you are letting it. If you are bored with life, it’s because you approach life in a boring way. You create your own paradigms, so if you are discontent with the one you are in, go in and make some changes. Fix it!

Don’t expect some other entity beyond yourself to do it for you. The sooner you get this simple idea into that thick skull of yours, the sooner you can start living life to its fullest and stop whining. Do it. Quit whining. Quit complaining. Quit acting like the world owes you something. Lift your head up and realize just how good everything really is when you stop looking at it through the much and mire of our own making.

The Page of Swords tarot card says, “You’ve heard that expression, ‘From the mouths of babes…'” Consider the innocence here. Consider this unfiltered, unconcerned truth. There is no ego here. There are no projections. There is no need to be right to make another wrong. The speaker is not trying to be smarter or better that anybody else. The speaker is simply communicating what is obvious. There is nothing but clear, level-headed truth.

Today, give this a try. Try speaking the absolute truth as you see it. Who knows? Maybe it needs to be heard. Maybe the truth will be a wake up call that the hearer needs. Denial and pretending everything is okay when clearly it is not will not serve anybody. Why do that? Elephant in the room? Address it! Get it out in the open so everybody can add their thoughts to it. “From the mouths of babes…” Go ahead and be that babe today.  Do it.
