The Sun: Chase The Moon Away

The Sun Tarot Card

The Sun Tarot Card: Chasing the Moon Shadows Away

The Sun chases the Moon away. Moon energy can be cruel- it can make you feel convinced that something is terribly wrong. It can make you certain that the absolute worst has happened although you have no factual evidence that it has. This feeling can make you feel like your life is ending. It is based on only the thoughts in your head, but those thoughts are tangible and create an acid that corrodes your soul.

Then you get clarity. You see the truth about what you had been dreading. You see that it was nothing but a shadow. The sun has risen and cast light into the shadows, vanquishing them. Now the dread is replaced with relief. You have clarity about what caused you grief and now you see it was nothing at all. Perhaps it was a simple and unfortunate misunderstanding.

When consumed by Moon energy such as this, don’t succumb to it. Remind yourself that it will pass. Remind yourself that it is just the moon casting its shadows. The Sun can’t stay away forever. It has to rise again and chase the moon shadows away. — Jim Larsen

The Sun: The Light At The End of The Tunnel

The Sun Tarot Card: Focus on the Light

What does the Sun tarot card mean? For one, it suggests better times: the light at the end of the tunnel. When life is getting hard, do not focus on the hardship. Focus on the light you are moving towards. Keep your eyes focused ahead so you will see the first sliver of light shining through up ahead. Keep moving towards this. Watch as it grows bigger and brighter until at last you are basking in it. — Jim Larsen

The Sun: How Joyful is Your Life?

The Sun Tarot Card

The Sun Tarot Card: Moving Forward into Happiness

The Sun tarot card can represent the joys of living. Being joyful in life is important, so be sure to maintain a life track that keeps you on it. It is important to move forward into happiness, for happiness is an indicator that you are on the right track and achieving your purpose. Always move forward into happiness. It is not productive to slip backwards into old hurts and unhappiness. The road ahead is meant to be trod, so trod upon it. Pause as you must to acclimate and to gather strength, then keep moving. Keep going. Forward movement leads you to enlightenment.

As you orbit the sun, you stay on track with your purpose and what life is truly about. When you are on track, life tends to move fluidly and with fewer difficulties. What difficulties do arise, you may recognize as necessary for our enlightenment. The sun represents your joys and your bliss. As long as you follow these things, all other things in our life will fall into place. — Jim Larsen

The Sun: Seeing The Light

The Sun

The Sun Tarot Card: Getting through the darkness to the light

You may find that you have been having a rough time for an extended period of time. You may go along, day by day, week by week, maybe even month by month or more where you just can’t seem to find the happiness you know you deserve. It’s something we all go through for some length of time or other; it’s part of what it means to be human.

So, you go along as if in a dark, lightless tunnel hoping for some shred of light to give you some hope. And then you start to see it. There is a light shining through up ahead, and you know as soon as you get there, you will shed the sadness and heaviness that has been weighing you down. This is the proverbial light at the end of the tunnel. This is the Sun. Even though, you have not reached it yet, you know it is there and that you are getting closer to it. This fills you with hope as you know life will get better soon.

With that in mind, you quicken your pace to get to that light sooner. The closer you get to it, the more energized you become. By the time you reach the light, you feel great. Life becomes fulfilling and you have cause to celebrate.

The lesson here is that when times are tough, keep your eyes open and looking forward, because before long you will see that sliver of Sun peeking through. Keep moving towards it. You will reach it before too long, and then you can bask in it and the time in the darkness will soon become a weird forgettable memory. Keep your thoughts on the Sun and go towards it. This is to live the good life no matter what. –Jim Larsen

The Sun: Make Sure You’re Having Fun.

The Sun Tarot Card: Remember, life is meant to be enjoyed

The Sun card is here to remind you to have fun today. If you have to step out of your normal routines to have a good time than do it. If your normal day to day activities are keeping you in a rut, then step out of them. Deviate from the normal if that’s what it takes to enjoy living. Get away from what is normal. Go a little crazy. Act a little different. If that’s what it takes to have some fun, then it is the right thing to do. Remember, life is meant to be enjoyed.

Sure, responsibilities crop up in our lives, and we have to pay heed to them. But does this mean to be enslaved by them? Find some you time. As life is meant to be enjoyed, if you are not enjoying it, then something went wrong somewhere. Find time to  enjoy life on your your own terms, or you very well may find yourself going a little crazy. Find time for the sun. Sometimes that is the best thing you can do for yourself. –Jim Larsen

The Sun: Soak in It

The Sun Tarot Card: Take advantage of the sun when it is shining

the sun tarot card
Voyager Tarot Sun Card

We need to take advantage of the sun when it shines, because it doesn’t always. The sun can go behind the clouds and stay there for days, weeks sometimes. The sun can disappear like this sometimes, leaving us feeling despondent and weak. The sun fuels us. Its rays make feel good, happy alive. Not that we can’t feel these things when the sun is behind the clouds, mind you, but when the sun is shining, it is so much nicer, so much easier to feel the positive effects of it.

So when the sun is shining, soak it in. When the conditions are right in your life today to enjoy something great, something good, something that brings happiness to you, don’t squander it. You don’t know ow long it will last. Soak it in so it stays with yo. Enjoy it in the moment. Appreciate it. The Sun card of tarot reminds you of this day. Appreciate feeling god and alive.

But does it have to b just because you told yourself it will be? It’s all in your perception. Whatever the conditions of a day, whatever the weather, you can still find the good in it. So don’t settle for bad days. Figure out what there is to appreciate about the moments of your life, then appreciate them.

The Sun: The Clouds are Gone

The Sun Tarot Card

The Sun Tarot Card: At Last!

You know this feeling, right? It’s been cloudy for days. It’s been raining and and dreary and you feel like you are in a box that you can barely breathe in. For days, this dreariness persists and you don’t know how much of it you can take. And then it ends. The rain stops. The clouds break up, and the sun shines once again. You go outside, breathe deep, and bask in the sun once again.

It’s that feeling that this is all about- that feeling of “Ah! At last!” Your patience waiting for the sun has finally paid off and the memories of dreariness suddenly feel so long ago. Look for that feeling today. What has been clinging to you for so long now that has finally shook loose? What feeling, attitude, phobia has at last left you be? Whatever it is, enjoy that “Ah! At last!” Feeling.

The Sun: Focus On Fun

The Sun Tarot Card: If you are not having fun, then you are doing it wrong

sun tarot card

Let this be your motto for the day: “If you’re not having fun, then you are doing it wrong.” Focus today on the things that make you happy. Forget stress. Forget pressure. Forget regrets, grudges, anger, all that. Focus on having a good time. If, to do this, you need to forgive others for whatever, then do it. If you need to look at a situation from another angle, one that has a positive spin to it rather than negative, then do that too. What does your spirit absolutely need right now in this moment? Do what you can to provide it. Whatever it takes today, just have a good day without making excuses as to why you can’t. The idea that you can’t is ridiculous. You can. So do it.
