Empress: Get Out and Expand

Fool's Path Tarot Card of the Day- Empress
China Tarot- Empress Tarot Card

The Empress Tarot Card: A reminder to enjoy nature

The Empress tarot card reminds you to get out once in awhile. Literally. Don’t spend all day inside. Get out and enjoy some natural creations. This is so good for your spirit and your soul. Get out into trees. Trees will absorb any heavy or negative energy from you. They will take it and send it all into the ground. Fill your lungs with fresh air. Dive into the water if you can. If it is raining, turn your face to the rain and let it wash away your cares. If it is snowing, bundle up and enjoy the sensation of the flakes falling on you. Don’t keep yourself shut up inside. Inside can become too restricted. Outside is expansive. Get outside and expand. Let your spirit enjoy the unboundlessness of the world outside. Nature is a gift to you. It is your place to get grounded and sour free. — Jim Larsen

The Empress: Making a Positive Difference

The Empress Tarot Card: How about lifting up instead of putting down?

The Empress tarot card today is reminding you to let people know you care about them. Be mindful of your words to other people, and be mindful of your actions too. It makes a difference to a person to know that they are cared about and appreciated, so let your interactions reflect this towards others today. Even the smallest thing towards showing  that you care can make a difference, and this can be a nice gift to give. Why not make a positive difference in somebody’s life? Why not lift somebody’s spirit up? Don’t we all need that once in awhile?

Instead of saying and doing things that bring people down, today, do the opposite. Do things to boost somebody’s mood and make them feel good. This is to embody the archetype of the Empress tarot card today.  — Jim Larsen

The Empress: You Grow what You Plant

The Empress Tarot Card: What reflects in your mirror?

The Empress archetype of tarot reminds us that what seed we plant is what will grow, and what we project, is what will be returned to us. Consider the words you speak, the actions you take toward another, and your attitude towards others to be hitting a mirror. Whatever you project out will bounce back to you. What then do you want hitting you on reflection? Consider this when you interact with people. Would you rather have heaviness and negativity hitting you or lightness and affirmations?

Keep this in mind when choosing how you will both interact and react. And bear in mind too, your words, actions, and attitudes towards others will no doubt sink into their heart and influence their feelings and their mood, which will no doubt play a role in their interactions with other people. Why not instigate a revolution of positivity? Plant as many seeds of light and harmony in the hearts of others so that they will spread it to others? Is that so hard to do?

When speaking to somebody, why not aim high? Aim to inspire, not to deflate. Negative words have a way of making people shrink, to shrivel up. Their light becomes walled in. They must struggle now to let their light out again. Does it make you feel good knowing you did this to somebody? Imagine how much better you would feel knowing you helped them shine their light? This is one of the things that it means to embody the Empress Archetype of tarot in a positive way.

The Empress: There are those who need you

The Empress Tarot Card: We all fall apart sometimes

The Empress tarot card reminds us that there are going to be those who could use your understanding, love, and support. Don’t be hesitant to give it to them.  We all need these things ourselves every so often, so when somebody in your life needs it too, why hold back? Who among us doesn’t go through some time where we need to just fall apart for a little bit? Don’t we all need to fall apart so we can rebuild?

In this falling apart, we may not project our optimal self. We may be difficult to be around. We may seem out of control or maybe just unlikable. Nobody is immune to this. And when we are going through this, doesn’t it help to have some understanding and compassion?

Well, it is the same for the people in your life. Give them the space and acceptance they need to rebuild their selves into the best person they can be. This is what a true Empress would do. Give love, but give space too. It makes all the difference sometimes.

The Empress: Who Could Use Your Kindness?

The Empress Tarot Card

The Empress Tarot Card: Being There For People

Consider the mothering qualities of The Empress tarot card. This card indicates a loving nature and nurturing tendencies. Now ask yourself, who in your life could benefit from these qualities from you? Is there somebody who is feeling low, who could really use a friend or a comrade? What can you do for this person, or these people?

Just for today, do not be blind to the people who could really use a little of that magic you offer. If this is somebody you are comfortable giving a hug, give them a hug. If this is somebody you can make laugh, make them laugh. Would they laugh at a hug from you? That would be two birds with one stone, wouldn’t it?

Be mindful and be thoughtful of the people you encounter today. In the future, they will remember and appreciate you as the person who was there for them that time. That is a good thing. It generates positive ripples that will reverberate out to others. Keep this in mind.

The Empress: Like Dandelion Seeds in the Air

The Fool's Path Tarot Empress Card

The Empress Tarot Card: What Impression Do You Make?

The Empress tarot card reminds you- your attitudes, your actions, and your words all spread like the seeds of a dandelion through the air. What others see, hear, and witness of you creates an impression on them. This impression that you make becomes picture that they create of you. So, how do you want to be seen? How do you wish to be represented? Do you wish to be represented as a reasonable, well adjusted person, or as a difficult, hard to tolerate type? If you are not sure, aim to be seen as somewhere in the middle. Otherwise, try as best you can to be upstanding. This is the message of the Empress today- be mindful. You actions really do plant themselves like seeds in the consciousness of others. How do you want to be thought of?
