7 of Wands: Tremendous Obstacles in Your Path

7 of wands tarot card

We all need a reality check sometimes.

The 7 of Wands tarot card may well show up to give you a reality check. It’s not your imagination, you’re not being overly dramatic, and you are not overreacting. There really are tremendous obstacles in your path. You really have hit a wall. To proceed as you had hoped to proceed may not be possible. You may need to abandon the hopes you had, and find something new to pursue. That’s just life.

Things don’t always go the way we had hoped. We get reality checks that force us to consider alternatives and new ideas. If we can find those alternatives perhaps we will feel liberated. If we cannot, we will likely suffer from frustration. The 7 of wands tarot card reminds us that we all have these setbacks in the quest of our goals. We all have those occasions when he have to face reality and understand what we hope for simply is not possible, so do not take it personally. — Jim Larsen

7 of Wands Tarot Card: Getting Back on Track

The 7 of Wands may show up to nudge you back on the right track. Think of it this way- everybody has the right to course correct. We all get into situations where we must live counter to our highest and best good. In these times do we continue in this manner that degrades and erodes our souls? No. That’s never a good idea. To achieve our Personal Enlightenment, we must stay on our path.

Our time on earth is precious. We must not squander it by staying in negative situations that are counteractive to it. When the 7 of Wands shows up for you, consider if you have gotten off track anywhere and then consider how you can get back on track. — Jim Larsen

7 of Wands: Seeing the Obstacle

7 of Wands Tarot Card

The 7 of Wands and accomplishing your goals

The 7 of wands tarot card tells you that you are so close to accomplishing your goals. You’ve come so close and have done so much, and now if you could just take those last few steps, but there is an obstacle in the way. You can see what you are after; it is right there. But you just can’t quite reach it. So what do you do? Do you give up? After all you’ve gone through to get to this point, is that what you are going to do? You shouldn’t.

What you should do is, back up a little bit and see a wider perspective around the obstacle. Obstacles are arbitrary. Accept them or don’t accept them. To accept them is to make them. To be empowered is to not accept them. To accept them is to make excuses. To make excuses is to give up too easily. If you are so willing to make excuses so easily is an indication that maybe you never really wanted this after all. So ask yourself how badly do you want this? If you want it badly enough, you’ll do what it takes and find a way to make it happen. — Jim Larsen

7 of Wands: Going Beyond Frustration

7 of Wands Tarot Card

7 of Wands Tarot card: Accepting that not everything will be perfect

Sometimes we get anxious. Look at this guy in the 7 of Wands tarot card. He’s trying to get somewhere, but there is an obstacle in his path that is slowing him down. He needs to figure out how to get through it, or how to get around it. That’s how life can be sometimes. We know what we want, but we just not sure how to get it. As we pursue it, it can seem like everything gets in our way and slows us down. This can be frustrating.

We need to realize that not everything is going to go our way perfectly. We can still achieve what we want to achieve, but we have to accept that sometimes it will take a little more time and effort than we expect it to. We need to slow down, take a deep breath, and appreciate that we have this to look forward to at all. If it is taking longer than we wanted to, well, that’s just life. At least you have ambition. At least you know you will figure this out and get there eventually. Keep going. Don’t let a little 7 of Wands obstacle keep you from trying. — Jim Larsen

7 of Wands: Make the Most of Your Setbacks

7 of Wands Tarot Card: Setbacks are new opportunities

Setbacks are a part of life that we all go through at times. They are not, however meant to keep you from your goals or to deter you from pursuing them. Setbacks happen, and they are frustrating. But keep in mind, they are only frustrating in the moment. They happen, and they give you a chance to expand your mind to find new ways to examine a situation. As you encounter a setback, accept it as a challenge.

Take it as a chance to prove that you have the imagination to to find a way around it. It doesn’t have to stop you dead in your tracks. You don’t have to give up just because things became unexpectedly difficult for you. Take the frustration you feel and transmute into power. Instead of letting it get to you, take it as a challenge to get past it, then harness that determination and get past your block. To do this is to take control of your destiny and not merely take what is thrown at you. This is the 7 of wands within you. –Jim Larsen

7 of Wands: Obstacles of Memories

7 of wands tarot card

7 of Wands Tarot Card: Second Chances

A big obstacle that we often face is our own memories. We remember a complication or a negative outcome to something we once tried to do, and assume it will be the same if we try again. So we resist trying again. Our mind is already made up as to what the outcome will be. The trick is to convince our self that this new occurrence of the situation is a second chance. Consider what went wrong, or what you didn’t do right, and do it a different way. Visualize a positive outcome. Imagine what went wrong, and see it going right this time. In this way, you dissolve the obstacles in front of you and make your way past them as if they were never there to begin with. Keep this in mind as you encounter obstacles in your path today. Ask yourself- what is an obstacle but an opportunity to innovate and find a new way to do something?
