4 of Swords: Let Your Brilliance Surface

4 of Swords

The 4 of Swords Tarot Card: Don’t Try to Force Brilliance

The 4 of Swords piece of you can be creating space for your brilliance to rise. Embedded deep within us all is innate wisdom. So often though, our very own thoughts prevent this brilliance from rising. The chaos of our own mind, the hustle and bustle of daily life, and the constancy of having to absorb and interpret all of the everything that is coming at us from other sources, other people, media manipulation has created blocks against our own true brilliance.

What do we do about this? We need to take time to sort through our thoughts and filter what is organic to us and what is implanted and/or what we are bombarded with from other sources. To do this, we need to take time to meditate and to hear only the voices that are pertinent to you. This will happen in times of rest. This will happen when we are not trying to force anything to happen.

The important thing is to be in or create the necessary environment for this. We need to create both an internal environment where your mind is calm, and an external environment where we will not be disturbed out of our quiet and mediation. When we are able to create a meditative environment for ourselves where we can go within, then we will hear the true intrinsic voices of our wisdom and not just the noise of the outside world. —Jim Larsen

4 of Swords: A Break From Your Normalcy

4 of Swords Tarot Card

4 of Swords Tarot Card: Awakening the dormant within

The four of swords tarot card urges you to take a break from your normal routine. It can happen that day by day, we end up doing the same thing. Over and over again, we repeat the same patterns. When we get into these habits, life can get boring. As we get bored, or even to prevent boredom from happening, shake things up. Find new things to try. Find new ways to do the normal things.

This gives you a break from your normalcy. Taking a break from your normalcy gives you the chance to tap into different parts of your brain and explore other thinking processes that have become dormant. Give your regular routines a rest and try out something new. You might be surprised what this awakens in you. — Jim Larsen

4 of Swords: Are You Driving Yourself Crazy?

4 of Swords Tarot Card: Don’t forget to have some “you” time

The 4 of Swords tarot card reminds you today that you don’t need to get everything done at once. Why rush? Take things one at a time and don’t feel like time is slipping by  too fast if you don’t do it all at once. Take a breather between tasks. Take a rest.  Don’t forget to find time for the things that are important to you in the daily mix of obligations. You can’t always, every minute of every day, be “on” for other people. Trying to do that will drive you crazy and maybe even insane really fast. Be careful about that.

Don’t lose track of your personal interests and your own ambitions. Find time for them. What you do with your personal interests and ambitions will add to your legacy. Don’t squander it by being nothing but obligated to others. When you feel like there is being too much placed on you by others, take a moment to reflect on the 4 of Swords tarot card to get your mind back on track.  –Jim Larsen

4 of Swords: Find Calm

4 of Swords Tarot Card: Untangle your thoughts

Today, the 4 of swords tarot card is advising you to find a sense of calm. The worries of recent days may have been affecting you in a rather negative way. They have probably been bringing you down. You have probably had so many things coming at you all at once that your thoughts have become a jumbled mess where you don’t know what is relevant and what is superfluous  anymore. This means, it is time to take a break. Just stop thinking for awhile. Rest. Gather your thoughts, and untangle them. Find the ones that are relevant and separate them from the ones that are not. This is hard to do when you everything is coming at you at once, so take a rest from it all so you can see clearly what is what.

Once you know which are the important thoughts, you can focus on them. You can figure out what they mean to you and utilize them while brushing the others away like unwanted crumbs. This is what our thoughts can do to us if we are not careful; they can overwhelm us. The trick is to stay in charge of them and not them overtake us. The four of swords tarot card is here today to remind you of this.  — Jim Larsen

4 of Swords Take a Rest

4 of Swords Tarot Card: Untangle your thoughts

The 4 of cups tarot card is advising you to take a rest. Take a break. Relax your mind. This is important to do. If you don’t every so often, your thoughts will run rampant and get incredibly jumbled to a point where you won’t know what is what in your mind and it will, too much, become a wadded up mess of thoughts that will make you crazy.

So relax. Take a nap. Meditate. Untangle your thoughts. Take hold of a thread of thought and separate it from the others. Don’t let other thoughts  cling to it and influence it. Examine this thought as a distinct entity.  Do the same with all the thoughts that are jumbled up in your head until you can examine them each with undistracted clarity. Now you will have a much clearer perception of what is going on in your mind. Let the 4 of swords tarot card remind you to untangle your thoughts and see them each clearly.

4 of Swords: Exhausted From Your Brain

4 of Speculation- Fool’s Path Tarot

4 of Swords Tarot Card: Let the important thoughts rise to the top

There has been a lot going on in your mind lately, hasn’t there? All this brain activity s probably making you feel exhausted. It’s probably making you feel like you just need to take a break and relax  for a bit. That is exactly what you should do- relax and take it easy for a bit. All this stuff on your mind gets all jumbled up and all the unimportant stuff is getting in the way of the important stuff and it’s making it hard to focus.

So what you need to do is give your brain a chance to relax without you making an effort to control what goes n with it and let all the unimportant stuff drift away so that what remains are the thoughts that are most pertinent to the situation. It’s really hard to do this when your brain is active and going on too many different things. So take to time to relax. Find calm. Find quiet. Find peace. Meditate. Take a nap.

Let what is important rise to the top of your awareness. What is not important will fade away when you do this. This is a favor you would do well to do for yourself when you have a lot on your mind. Find peace within. The benefits are astounding.

4 of Swords: Break Away

4 of Swords tarot card

4 of Swords Tarot Card: Take a break from hive mentality

Feeling pressured? People pushing you to do something you’d really rather not have to do? Just want to be left alone today? Well, do it. Be left alone. If you don’t feel like going along with whatever the crowd is dictating, then break away from the crowd and do your own thing. Do what is meaningful to you as an individual. What’s the deal with the group mind/hive mentality anyway? Is it really what your life is all about? Is this where your heart is?

Today, take a break from it. Wish the others well in their group endeavor as you take a nap. Sometimes, your spirit, your mind, your heart, your soul all simply need this time away from the group, especially if this is a group you have been obligated to spend time with day after day, week after wee, and month after month. This being the case, probably, you hear the same thing and expect the same thing over and over and over. If you need a break from that, well, why wouldn’t you take it. Simple as that. Take care of yourself and never apologize for it.

4 of Swords: Is there a War in Your Head?

4 of Swords Tarot Card: Fight Back Against Your Brain

4 of Swords

The 4 of swords tarot card asks you, been thinking too much lately? All those thoughts causing you distress? Getting to you? Is it starting to feel like a war being waged against your spirit by that lump in your head you call your brain? Well, are you going to let your brain win? Are you going to let your brain continue to launch this assault, or are you going to fight back? Fight back by getting away from your brain. Step away from your daily routine.

An unrelenting daily routine is the home field advantage that the brain is most comfortable fighting this battle on. It becomes so complacent and satisfied in this routine/rut that it has no trouble wielding its swords at the screaming spirit. Take a break. Get away from what you daily do and create a new battle field.

Create a battle field where you don’t have to fight. It’s not a battle field at all, is it? This war isn’t even real. It’s all in your head- of course! Your brain may want to fight, but your spirit just wants peace, so get away and give it what it wants. Get away from the same old same old and give your spirit half a chance to win a battle. This is the advice of the 4 of swords tarot card for today.  — Jim Larsen
