5 of Swords: Worry and Stress Are Behind You

5 of Swords Tarot Card: Just let it go

The 5 of swords tarot card is telling you today to take a deep breath and let it out. Give yourself a break. Relax your mind. Whatever battles you have been putting yourself through lately are over. Let go of whatever has been troubling you. Whatever worry and stress you have been struggling with is behind you. Allow yourself to accept that. Now is the time to let go of grudges, let go of anger, let go of your ego’s fixation on needing to win and needing to be right. Really take a look at these things. How important is any of that anyway?

When you simply let go of something you have been fixated on, does your world really fall apart? Probably, it does not. You free up the energy you were expending holding onto these things and now it is free for more productive things. So let go so you can reassess the situation, rebound, and realign. You don’t have to feel like a loser just because you don’t feel like you won. Just let it go because it really doesn’t matter anyway. This is the message from the 5 of swords tarot cards for today.

8 of Cups: Just Go. It’s Okay.

8 of Cups Tarot Card: Just Go

The 8 of cups tarot card is saying to you,  “Just go.” There is no scolding here. There is no bitterness. There is no judgment. All there is is the reality that it is time. Whatever the place or the situation at hand is, it  has run its course in your life, and the course it has run is valuable. Through this course, you have gained wisdom, life experience, and enlightenment. But now you have absorbed what it had to offer and life is becoming stagnant.

But your life is not meant to be stagnant. Your life is meant to be fluid, flowing, and in motion. So keep moving. Look back and say, “Thank you for what you gave me.” Then move on. There is more for you to absorb in this world. Go now and find what is next. This is what the 8 of cups tarot card has for you today.

2 of Wands: Your Life Is Up To You.

2 of Wands Tarot Card: Make your life what you want it to be. It’s up to you.

The 2 of wands tarot card reminds us that we have the whole world in our hands. The question then becomes, what are we doing with it? It tells us that we can do with it what pleases us. We just need to do it. It happens that we start to feel stuck and stagnant in situations. We just get lulled into patterns and cycles and we forget that we have the choice to make changes. So when you feel stuck, when you feel like you have achieved all you can achieve and are not meant for more, ask yourself- why? Why do you feel like that?

Imagine what it is that that you wish you were doing as opposed to what it is you are doing, and ask yourself, “Why am I not doing what I want to do? Why have I allowed myself to get stuck in this rut?” And then seek the answer to that question. Once you have the answer, address it. Make a plan. Unstuck yourself! It is your life. Remember that. Live it to the best of your abilities by following your dreams, passions and bliss. You have the whole world in your hands. The 2 of Wands tarot card reminds you of that. Make your life what you want it to be.

6 of Cups: Don’t Hold On Too Tightly

6 of Cups Tarot Card: The grip of memories can be paralyzing, in a negative sense.

The 6 of cups tarot card brings to mind warm and fuzzy memories of days gone by that we wish we could recapture and relive. In a positive sense, these memories can be heart-warming and uplifting. What happens though when these memories have too tight a grip on us? What happens when we cannot move on to new chapters of our life because these memories are binding us to a time that has since moved on?

Consider this: let’s say you have have been at a job for many years and have become so used to the procedures and daily routine, and your coworkers are like family to you. Now you have a chance for a new a job, a better job, an exciting job. Everything about the idea of this job thrills you and you really want to take it. But then you think about having to leave the people you know so well at your current job,  and you feel weird about it. Hesitancy descends upon you. You start to worry and ask your self, “Am I doing the right thing?” The answer is, of course you are doing the right thing, and you know it. Everything about this new job feels right.

The only thing slowing you down is the fear of leaving behind what is familiar. In this sense, the six of cups tarot card is acting on you in a negative way. This is when you must take charge of your own destiny and find the courage to move forward no matter what you are leaving behind. Move forward without the past blocking your progress. This is what the six of cups tarot card is telling you.

4 of Swords: Exhausted From Your Brain

4 of Speculation- Fool’s Path Tarot

4 of Swords Tarot Card: Let the important thoughts rise to the top

There has been a lot going on in your mind lately, hasn’t there? All this brain activity s probably making you feel exhausted. It’s probably making you feel like you just need to take a break and relax  for a bit. That is exactly what you should do- relax and take it easy for a bit. All this stuff on your mind gets all jumbled up and all the unimportant stuff is getting in the way of the important stuff and it’s making it hard to focus.

So what you need to do is give your brain a chance to relax without you making an effort to control what goes n with it and let all the unimportant stuff drift away so that what remains are the thoughts that are most pertinent to the situation. It’s really hard to do this when your brain is active and going on too many different things. So take to time to relax. Find calm. Find quiet. Find peace. Meditate. Take a nap.

Let what is important rise to the top of your awareness. What is not important will fade away when you do this. This is a favor you would do well to do for yourself when you have a lot on your mind. Find peace within. The benefits are astounding.
