Strength Tarot Card: A Rough Day is not a Rough Life

A lot can placed on your shoulders sometimes. There is a lot expected of you, and a lot of things you need to take care of. It could be so much that it feels like it is crushing you. Have you ever noticed this? it’s a normal thing to endure. The trick is to not let it get to you. It will try to get to you It will work on your mind trying to get you to give up and give in. But you know what? You don’t have to do that.

When you feel overwhelmed, take a few deep breaths, remind yourself that this is just  a rough day. It’s not a rough life. Go within yourself and find that bit of strength that makes you who you are despite any obstacles in your way, and hold on to it. Bring it to the surface and be powerful. There is a part of you within that can never be crushed, altered, or tampered with. This is your inner strength. It is always there. Find it when you need it.

The Hierophant: You Are Admired

The Hierophant Tarot Card: You know more than you know you know

The Hierophant tarot card may remind us that like it or not, realize it or not, you are looked up to. You are seen as a wise person. You know things that others wish they did. You have life experience that they are still amassing, and therefore, you are seen as wise. That’s pretty cool, right? Consider the questions that people ask you. These are questions that only a learned, wise, and knowledgeable person could answer. The fact that you are the one being asked these questions, and the fact that you actually have the answers should tell you just how much you really do know.

Did you know you knew this much? Sometimes we don’t realize how far we have come on our path until we get these little reminders. How others see us can tell us a lot about who we are. If we like what we discover about ourselves through these glimpses we attain from others, that is great. We know we are doing good. If we do not like what we see, however, we can take this as a hint about what we need to work on.

Page of Swords: You Never Stop Learning

student speculation copy

Page of Swords Tarot Card: You are an eternal student

The Page of Swords tarot card reminds us that those who think they know everything usually have the most to learn, and often do so through adversity and hardship. Why is this? Because their minds are so fixated on the arrogance of knowing it all, that any new knowledge has to fight its way into their awareness like a weak Mr. Kool-Aid smashing through a brick wall. It takes a lot to get through to these people. The more they resist, the harder it is for new information to make its way into their brain and settle there. Be careful about that.

Be careful not to block out new ideas and new bits of knowledge, because you do not know it all and you never will, so why not embrace that side of yourself- that side that is still hungry to learn new things and to amass new knowledge? Accept that you are an eternal student and indulge your various curiosities. Try to learn something new as a daily habit.

The Chariot: By Your Own Power, Achieve!

The Fool's Path Chariot Card

The Fool’s Path Chariot Card

The Chariot Tarot Card: Do it!

By the force of your own power, achieve! This is your message for today. The Chariot is saying to you, “Hey! Don’t sit there waiting for somebody to tell what you can and what you should do. You know the answer to these things, and you know how to do it. So do it!”

It’s so easy to slip into a thought system where we believe that we need to do things that other people want from us. It is easy to take their instructions and do our duties. We do it at work, we do it in relationships, we watch TV and buy what the commercials tell us to buy. But there is a flip side to that. There is also what we ourselves are capable of doing without the need for anybody else telling us what to do.

This is our creative genius side. This is our entrepreneurial side. This is our adventurous and our independent side.  This is our chariot side. Tap  into this. What do you know you can do, but just haven’t done it for whatever reason? Today, stop making excuses and do it. Now.

3 of Wands: What’s Over There?

3 passsions copy

3 of Wands Tarot Card: To be Inspired by Distant Shores

The 3 of Wands Tarot Card tells us that from here, we look over there, and we ask, “What’s it like over there?” We dream, we imagine, we ponder, and we wonder, “What am I missing?” Over there, the answer exists. At least in our minds, it is. And sure, there is something to be gained over there. Is it the secret of the universe? Is it the answer to life itself? Maybe it is. Maybe it is not. Maybe it is just a clue.

To stare at and dream of distant shores and distant horizons is to inspire your own growth, for as you dream of far away places, you realize that there is more to achieve, more to see, more to do, more to accomplish, more to experience. We jar ourselves out of complacency and explore what more there is to explore. In so doing, the lessons learned and the experiences had contribute to the over-all make up of who we are. The more variety of influences, the more vibrant we are. So, don’t just dream of yonder shores, venture to them. See what is there.

9 of Wands: Is life meant to always be easy?

9 of Wands

9 of Wands Tarot Card: It’s what you do with what life throws at you that matters

The 9 of Wands tarot card tells us, it’s not what life throws at you that ultimately makes a difference, It’s what you do with it that does. It is so easy, isn’t it, to succumb to the problems of life and act like a victim. “Boo-hoo. Poor me. Life just got hard. I guess I’ll give up.” What kind of an attitude is that? Who is going to be impressed by that attitude? Turn it around. “I’m going to make it after all.” Now, you will do well in life. Now, you are not giving in to the problems that come at you.

Sometimes, it is the easiest thing to do- to let problems stop you in your tracks. But is life always meant to be easy? Isn’t it true that we grow from adversities and problems? By finding solutions we gain strength. This strength stays with us forever. So let that be your attitude- never give up. Never let the weight of the world crush you. No matter up, get up and keep going.

King of Pentacles: Slip Out of Doubt

King of Pentacles Tarot Card

King of Pentacles Tarot Card: Trust your innate abilities

The King of PentaclesTarot Card reminds you to have faith in yourself. Know that you are able to achieve whatever it is that you are setting out to achieve. Sometime we slip into those moments of doubt. We look at our goals and ambitions and see them as impossible. “How can I possibly do this? It is impossible.” We  tell ourselves. But this is the voice of ego tying us to a mindset of limitations.

Ignore that voice. Undo the binds that it will stake you to. Trust in your own innate ability to achieve anything. Put the work in and keep your attitude positive. Take the chances you need to take, and seize the opportunities that come your way. When a door opens for you, step through. When opportunity knocks, answer. Learn what you can about how to get done what you want to get done, and work at it. These is no reason not to, so don’t make excuses.

7 of Pentacles: Impatience is pointless

seven commerce copy

7 of Pentacles Tarot Card: Seeds don’t grow in a day. Give it time.

The 7 of Pentacles tarot card tell us that impatience will not do us any good. Things are going to happen in the time they are going to happen no matter what, so why rush them? Somethings you can control, sure. But what about those things you cannot? Are you really going to let them drive you crazy? It is all about your thoughts about whatever is going on. You know that, right?

So, if there is something you are waiting for to happen, but you are unable to make this happen any faster than it is going to, what’s the point of getting up or stressing out over it? This is all in your head and your attitude completely. Change your thinking to an attitude of, this will take a while, and that is okay. Give it the time it needs.

Think in terms of a plant growing, let’s say a tomato plant. You plant the seed and look forward to the day you pick the first tomato off it and enjoy it. This won’t happen in a day. Give it time. Give all things the time they need. You can’t change the time it takes, you can only change your attitude about it.
