The Empress Tarot Card: We all fall apart sometimes

The Empress tarot card reminds us that there are going to be those who could use your understanding, love, and support. Don’t be hesitant to give it to them.  We all need these things ourselves every so often, so when somebody in your life needs it too, why hold back? Who among us doesn’t go through some time where we need to just fall apart for a little bit? Don’t we all need to fall apart so we can rebuild?

In this falling apart, we may not project our optimal self. We may be difficult to be around. We may seem out of control or maybe just unlikable. Nobody is immune to this. And when we are going through this, doesn’t it help to have some understanding and compassion?

Well, it is the same for the people in your life. Give them the space and acceptance they need to rebuild their selves into the best person they can be. This is what a true Empress would do. Give love, but give space too. It makes all the difference sometimes.

The Knight of Cups tells you, today is a good day to open your heart and bare your soul. Sometimes you just have to take a chance. Not sure how something will work out? Well, don’t worry about the outcome. Just put it all out there and see what happens. Shift the paradigm by letting your true feelings be known. Hope for the best, but accept anything that comes of it. Don’t just take what comes your way. Do something to generate some sort of an outcome that you would like. How will you know if you don’t try? So try!

If you are in dangerous territory, overcome the fear of this danger and become that much stronger, wiser, and compassionate.

The King of Swords tells you, you know what you want, so just be honest about it. You know what you need to say, so just say it. Say it with authority and conviction. Do not be wishy-washy about it. Take charge and be in charge. People are looking for leadership. They are waiting for somebody to step forward and take control of the situation. You have a good grasp on what is going on, so you are the best person for it.

Do not second guess yourself or your leadership abilities. This is your time to shine and to show the world what you have going on in terms of authority. So do it. There may be tough decisions to make. Make them! Make them based on what is best for everybody, not what is best for your ego. There is no room for ego in anything that is going on right now. As a leader, put ego aside and focus on what the needs of the group are. This is to be a true leader, which is what the King of Swords truly is, and what you most need to tap into today.

The Chariot Tarot Card: Use what you have

The Chariot tarot card tells us, it is so easy to look at our lives and only see what is missing. Why do we do this? We do this because it is easy. It is easy to say “such and such is missing, and therefor I am in a rut. If only such and such would come along, I could be so much bigger, better, and stronger than what I am. But I don’t have these things, so I guess I’ll always be in this rut.” What a load of crap that is.

Take a look at your life, see what you have, appreciate it for what it is, and if there is something that you would like to have in addition, use what you have to maneuver these things into your life, you life into these things.

Always remember, you have the power to attain these things. Don’t simply wait for blind luck to plop them into your life. Now, activate your inner Chariot and go for whatever it is that you crave, desire, or just want. And if you don’t, do not whine or complain about what is lacking in your life.

3 of Wands Tarot Card: Consider doing something different

The 3 of Wands tarot card asks you, are you getting bored? Restless? Wanderlust seeping in and you just want to pack up and go? Do something different? See new scenery? Breath new air? Eat new food? Hear new music? Just do something different to jolt you out of the humdrum of daily routine? Yeah? Well, why don’t you? Try something new. Do something different. Go somewhere you have never been before. Move. Change jobs. Take a vacation.  Pursue a new hobby. Watch a new movie.

The point is, you never have to settle for a rut. If you feel stagnant, do something to shake yourself out of that stagnation. Make your life interesting. It is a big world, and there is lots to do and lots to experience. Make the most of it. Make some excitement for yourself. This is what it means to embrace the 3  of Wands.

Ace of Cups Tarot Card: Let Love Win

The Ace of Cups tarot card tells us, when you let others know that they are loved, some of that love will inevitably bounce back to you. The less of your own ego and need to be recognized that you put into it, the stronger it is. How can it not bounce back to you? When you express love, you open yourself to love. How can you not feel it from somewhere or other in the universe?

So express love, but do it in such a way that it is for those you express it to. Don’t take the attitude that they owe you anything just because you express this to them. Let them respond in a way they feel is appropriate. In this way, love will win. Let love win by not placing expectations on it. Let love be what it is intrinsically.  This is to value the Ace of Cups.

Death: A Chapter Ends

The Death Tarot Card: It all adds up to who you are now

Think about the Death tarot card this way- you come to the end of one chapter of a book, and now you will start the next. Does this new chapter start over completely? Is this a complete new story that is unrelated to the everything you have read so far? No, that is not the case at all. This new chapter takes everything that has happened previously in the book and builds on it, it continues the story. This is the same as Death as it pertains to tarot.

Consider this today. Think about how everything in your life so far has contributed to the being you are in the now-right now. Think about the lessons you have learned, the lessons you have been set up to learn, all the lives you have touched, all the lives that have touched you. Take all this and continue on with it. Expand this thought too into a karmic view of who you are.

How will the deeds of this lifetime affect future incarnations? What in your past still needs to be resolved? Who have you been that has led to who you are? Ponder the death card today and give these thoughts consideration.
